2023 Congress on Healthcare Leadership
Thank you for an incredible 2023 Congress, 5,000 attended and was the largest Congress to date! Most importantly it provided educational and networking opportunities enhancing both professional and personal skills. University of FL, University of North FL, and University of South FL, had alumni receptions and for the first time at Congress, all four Florida Chapters had a meet up Monday evening. Lastly, 23 members from North & West Florida chapters were recognized for attaining their Fellow status. Check out the 2023 Congress Highlights video.
Board of Governors Exam Fee Waiver Campaign Runs Through June 30
Encourage your chapter members to not only take the next important step in their careers by advancing to Fellow status but also take advantage of our Board of Governors Exam fee waiver offer (a savings of $225). To receive the waiver, qualified Members must submit their completed Fellow application, $250 application fee and all required documents by June 30.

Chapter Membership Needs Survey
On June 5, ACHE will launch the annual Chapter Member Needs Survey, which will give your Chapter Leaders feedback on the programs and services they provide. This survey is sent via personalized emails containing links to our survey provider’s website. The survey link is specific to the member— it cannot be forwarded to other individuals. It will only be sent to all members who have been a member of your current chapter for at least one year and have selected Would you like to receive Surveys? at the bottom of your My Communication Preferences under My ACHE.
Updated FACHE Continuing Education Requirement
Current Requirement through December 31, 2023
Complete a minimum of 36 continuing education hours over 3 years, including:
- A minimum of 12 ACHE Face-to-Face hours
- Up to 24 may be Qualified Education hours
NEW Requirement Beginning January 1, 2024
Complete a minimum of 36 continuing education hours over 3 years, including:
- A minimum of 12 ACHE In-Person Education hours
- 12 ACHE Virtual Interactive Education hours
- Up to 12 may be Qualifying Education hours

Nominations open for Regent-at-Large, District 2
The ACHE Board of Governors is calling for applications to serve as Regent-at-Large in District 2 beginning in March 2024. For further details, please refer to ACHE’s Statement on Diversity. Appointments will be made by the Board of Governors in December 2023. Fellows from District 2 may apply to serve by sending a letter and resume to Jennifer Connelly, FACHE, CAE, Vice President, Volunteer Relations, jconnelly@ache.org and must be received by September 15. If prospective candidates have any questions about the application process, contact Jennifer Connelly.
