In short, the inability to deal with difficult people can, at a minimum, make life miserable, and in reality, destroy an organization.
Effective leaders are familiar with and employ a variety of strategies, tools and skill to deal with difficult people. Regardless of a leader’s ability to deal with difficult people, there is always room for improvement.
